My question is: Which of these treatments are
safe for someone who has already been diagnosed
with prostate cancer. Many that I see, when you
read the real fine print, are not recommended if
you already have prostate cancer. Thanks.

I have had both BPH and bladder stones (two occasions). I have been treated with laser procedures and have had a short course of therapy with the drug Terzosin, a bladder smooth muscle relaxant. The recovery from the surgery is now in the 8th month and not yet back to “normal”. It is still painful when I pee and while I can now go for sometimes as long as 90 minutes to two hour before I have to go, once I have to go, it is immediate and delay of more that a couple of minutes results in some dribbling. I have tried two over the counter nutritional supplements primarily Saw Palmetto based. I tried one special order multi-compound prostate nutritional discovered on the internet, and one nationally advertized product with a former NFL Quarterback as their spokes person. This last seems to be having some beneficial effect, but it may just be the the “recovery” period from the surgery is finally kicking in. I almost never get more than three uninterrupted hours of sleep and this lack of good rest is beginning, after years, to have a deleterious effect on my over-all health. If there is anything more I can provide to assist in getting your video out, I would be glad to help. I am very interested in sex-I have a lovely wife and when we are affectionate, I can feel stirrings, but fear trying to go further as I have disappointed her in the past and she has pretty much resigned herself to the curse of old age. I am 73 and healthy enough for sex; she is 64 and still interested (and lovely enough that I do fear she may look elsewhere as men turn and look at her a second time on the street pretty regularly).

I AM 59 YEARS OLD AND HAPPILY MARRIED. I HAVE SEVEAR BPH,STRESS URINARY INCONTINANCE,AND DOCUMENTED HYPOGONADISM(LOE TESTOSTERONE), AND ED. I HAVE HAD PROSTATE BIOPSY AND I DO NOT HAVE PROSTATE CANCER MY DOCTOR HAS ME ON DAILY: CIALIS 5MG,AVODART 0.5 MG,ENABLEX 15MG, TAMSULOSIN 0.4 MG AND AXIRAON 30 MG TESTOSTERONE GEL.
HE HAS PRESCRIBED MUSE URINARY SUPPOSITORIES FOR ED BUT MY INSURANCE CARRIER WILL NOT PAY FOR THAT AND I CAN NOT AFFORD ANOTHER $300 FOR 4 TREATMENTS(ERECTIONS) PER MONTH.HE HAS EVEN RECOMMENDED SURGERY, TURP AND EVEN PENILE PROSTHESES. I AM VERY FEARFUL OF SIDE EFFECTS OF SURGERY. WHAT I DO PAY FOR IS TREMENDOUSLY EXPENSIVE BUT SEX, AND NOT WEARING A DIAPER IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.
I STILL HAVE ED AND URINARY INCONTANANCE AND LOW TESTOSTERONE. I HAVE TRIED MANY NON PERSCRIPTION SUPPLIMENTS WITH MUCH MONEY SPENT AND LITTLE SUCCESS.
MY ED SPECIFICALLY. I DO NOT HAVE SPONTANEOUS ERECTIONS. WITH STIMULATION I CAN HAVE INTERCOURSE WITH MY WIFE ONCE A WEEK BUT MY SIMI FIRM ERECTIONS SELDOM LAST BEYOND 3-5 MIN SO I CAN SOMETIME BRING ONE OF US TO ORGASM BUT SELDOM BOTH OF US. PLEASE OFFER ME HELP BUT RESPECT MY PRIVACY THANK YOU.

My diagnosis is BPH. I’m 68 and this condition was around for the past 10 years or so. I’ve been using herbals, such as Beta Prostate and Saw Pimento. Along with these, I’m taking pharmaceuticals, such as Flomax.

This combination has helped somewhat. However, if there’s something better, I’m all ears.

Phil

No lengthy comments or questions, except to say that your overall analysis (regarding the pharmaceutical and surgical “solutions” often having unintended consequences) is spot on.

I experienced some unexpected relief (after a bout with prostatitis) several years ago through an eight-day fasting regimen. It wasn’t fun; however, I’m inclined to revisit that technique.

    Matt Cook

Fasting can produce dramatic results and is often my “go to” remedy.

I also have been looking for a solution for my urinating at night problems with no luck. I will keep on looking as I will not take the drugs the Dr.s recommend. I would be greatly interested in anything that can help without any horrendous side effects or threats to my health. I am 66 years young and would love to get a good nights sleep.

Lionel

I do suffer with BPH, I would love to see and here new protocols and research on natural things for the prostate. I currently take a product called Peenuts, that is formulated by Dr. Wheeler a urologis in Florida.

He also has a book called men at risk with great info. educate, educate, educate. the more you know, the less likely you will follow the normal protocol for prostate issues.

Hey Matt,
I am currently taking Prostagard by Terbonova and it seems to help a little but I’m not sure if I should keep taking it. I’m 50 and don’t want to screw things up any worse than they are. Should I go with saw palemetto? Thanks

Daniel

I have had BPH for at least 10 years, and have been taking Omnexel or similar prescription medication for years, to alleviate difficulty with urination. This helps keep things under control, but does not, of course, fix the problem. Any help you can give to be able to get off this medication would be of great interest to me.
Thank you!

This can be good if we have a natural remedy. Peeing very so often is not only uncomfortable but can be embarrassing too. Would like to know more about your discovery.

Matt,
I am a 69 year old white male. I have had increasing problems maintaining an erection since about 60. I have tried with some success many male enhancement supplements but after time they lose their power. We normally have intercourse one time per week.
The latest problem happened when my wife fell with a compression fracture at L1 in her spine. I gave her time to heal for about 1 month with no sexual activity. I thought it might help the situation but it actually made it worse. Now I cannot maintain an erection for penetration. I can achieve orgasm in her and ejaculation for me but not with penetration.
I usually get up at least once per night. Sometimes it is difficult to urinate freely.
I take 2-GNC’s Mega Men 50+ multivitamin, 2-Lawrence laboratories PHGHRx, 2-Max Recovery, and 6-Arginmax DAILY before bedtime.
If there is planned activity the next morning, I have added 4-PHGHRx, 2-Max Recovery, and an additional 6-Arginmax. It doesn’t help.
I tried Androderm last year but again no help. Viagra and Levitra samples give me headaches or an upset stomach.
I will be going in soon for my annual physical and am considering asking if I could have high estrogen.
I do want to maintain some activity to avoid prostate cancer. Cancer runs in my father’s side of the family as well as heart issues on both sides.
To help with prostate problems I have at times taken GNC’s Chelated Zinc with good results.
Any suggestions?

Phillip Jones

I’ve been taking ‘flomax’ for years and would greatful

I’m 64, have had an enlarged prostate for years, and get up 3-4 times a night. I live abroad and it’s a little hard to communicate with doctors, but I was told it’s a result of age (but I was told this when I was 48!). Is it really possible to fix this without meds?

I would like to know what is the cure for E D?

Had prostate surgery several years ago. No erections anymore.

    Matt Cook

about 35% of prostate surgeries result in ED problems. About 20% result in urinary incontinence. Do you feel sensation in your penis? Can you have an orgasm even if you can’t get hard?

This was an interesting video. I am already 75, and I have experienced this problem myself. I take Terazosin that I get from the VA, as well as a special tea that I buy in a drug store. I also use a few supplements, such as saw palmetto, beta sitosterol, and pygeum. Between all of these things combined, I usually get about 4 to 5 hours of straight sleep before I get the urge to pee. I am usually able to go back to sleep quickly, and get another 2 to 2 1/2 hours of sleep before I have to go again. I usually stay up after that.
I am interested in anything that may work that would eliminate all the things I have to take now.

Trid to buy the program before the deadline you gave – september,28th – but appeared that “f..king” message: Oops! We’re currently full. Thanks for your interest and we’ll let you know when this product is available again”.
Please let me know when your “T Liftoff” program is avaiable.

Just did my blood tests and my levels are just 379….
Counting on you to solve my problem!

Your video teaser seemed to hold some hope for a natural remedy for those of us with prostate problems, “I used to have terrible problems and now they are all gone”; instead of offering some actual advice, it’s merely an advertisement for yet another product you’re going to sell.

My genes are from Missouri, and I am a natural Doubting Thomas, so excuse me if I seem harsh.

I will purchase your new course when it’s available, as I am looking for natural methods to help with my prostate problems, but I hold little hope that it offers more than “take more zinc, manually massage your prostate”.

Until I’ve checked out your new course, I will keep it on par with Chinese Tiger Yang Pills; promises a lot, costs a fortune, results are vague to ineffectual, just another way to capitalize on those who are desperately seeking to improve their sexual health problems.

After taking the course, if I learn some actual innovative suggestions using natural methods or products, I will be among the loudest voices advocating your findings, should they work for me.

    Matt Cook

Hi Steve, thanks for your thoughts. I think that’s fair.

Keep in mind, we don’t sell supplements! Whatever we do, we aren’t profiting from selling men any sort of chemicals. And I think that makes a huge difference.

    I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I think you’ll be thrilled.

I am 64 and I guess I am lucky not to have any problems with getting up and going to the loo at night. My PSA reading has been 1 since Istarted having it checked several years ago so I think I must be lucky. I have had a young partner for 6 months so I guess she keeps me on my toes, plus of course I am very fit and healthy, that must be a huge bonus.

Hi fellow sufferers
I’m 59 and I’m using T creme. The Testosterone cream is a big help otherwise I would be impotent, but I find that I need to keep taking more and more. I started out taking 2- clicks then I needed four. Then eight was a “maintenance” dose. Now I need to take 11-12 clicks if I think I will get lucky that night but my stamina is maybe only 10-15 minutes…. The more T I use the worse the impact to my Prostate. I hated the drugs, none of them seemed to work well and they impacted my sex drive and interest. I’ve tried a lot of supplements and can generally state that a broad variety works better than any single compound. The more T I use, the more supplements I need to take. This has been the bane of my existence. So far these seem to work best for me:

Life Extension Prostate: I take 5-7 of these a day
http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Item01895/Ultra-Natural-Prostate.html?source=search&key=prostate
Then I add an eastern herbal mixture: at least 9/day
http://www.vitacost.com/nutricology-healthy-prostate-and-ovary

I’ve always liked this suplement a lot, but I’ve had a lot of trouble getting it delivered consistently. I think what helps is a big dose of beta-sitosterol with a lot of other compounds. Most supplements don’t have anywhere near enough beta-sitosterol or skip it entirely.
http://www.ultra-pure.com/products/UltraProstate-Plus%2C-Buy-2-%40-%2477-Each-and-Get-1-FREE.html

My wife hates how much I spend on this stuff. But If I don’t then I need to pee every 20 minutes, never empty my bladder and dribble and dribble. If I take two out of three of these, then I feel pretty normal and sleep all night.

    Matt Cook

thank you! Glad to hear that you found some things that work for you and thanks for sharing!

    Gene

I am not a doctor. But I can read and do research.

The Testosterone cream prescribed by your doctor will give you prostate cancer!!!!

Go to an alternative doctor who will prescribe BIO IDENTICAL TESTOSTERONE cream made by a compounding pharmacist. Bio identical hormone replacement (BHRT) for BOTH men and women will not give you cancer. Women who take HRT made from horse piss will develop breast cancer. The drug companies cannot make any money on natural hormones.

For those who have had their prostates removed, there is only one solution: TRI-MIX. It works for almost all ED when all else fails.

I had the microwave treatment & hated the 10 days after on the colostomy bag – after all this pain, suffering, & inconvenience – it did not work. Thedoctor providing the treatment told me that there was a 92% success rate – so I was one of the unlucky 8%. I asked about the green light laser procedure – he did not perform that procedure, so he turned me over to an associate doctor in his firm. In my consultation with the new doctor in discussing the potentional of the green light laser therapy, I told him what the doctor had told me about 92% success rate – he laughed & said – no – it is about 32 to 35% successful. I had the green light laser therapy & have had good results from it as to frequency, but I still do not completely empty, but I do make it through most nights without having to go. After this lengthy explanation – I now have a question – did these procedures cause me to have difficulties getting erections as I am now having difficulties getting erections with my partners & I am humiliated & unsatisfied as I am not achieving erection & therefore, no climax. Is there a solution to this problem for me?

WHAT NATURAL CURE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I AM INTERESTED IN YOUR VIDEO PRESENTATION BUT WILL VERY QUICKLY GO OUT OF IT IF FOR THE FIRST 2-3 MINUTES I HEAR MARKETING SPILL. IN THE VIDEO, PLEASE GET TO THE POINT FROM THE BEGINNING AND MOST OF THE MEN WITH THE PROSTATE PROBLEMS KNOW FROM THEIR DOCTOR WHAT IT IS. THEY NEED TO KNOW WHAT (INEXPENSIVE) CURE YOU’RE TRYING TO SELL? I ALSO AGREE WITH MY SYMPTOMS BEING THE SAME AS SOME OF THE COMMENTS MADE BELOW.

    Matt Cook

Hey thanks for your thoughts. There’s so much we don’t know. This is not something that our doctor knows much about either. That’s the whole point of this — to share what might work and that you won’t hear from your doctor.

I am highly suspicious of information from people who are selling their own products. It’s not that I don’t listen to them, but I really question what they are saying.

One of the problems we have is that the drug companies are funding the research. There is great research being done but you have to look at it separately from what they are trying to sell us. I’m not selling anything. I have no “cure” to sell. One thing you can count on, is the Cookster isn’t going to be trying to get you to buy some supplement from the Cookster, LOL.

I have a family history of prostate cancer. I am 44 years old and doctors just keep telling me “This day and age you don’t have to worry until you’re in your 50’s.” Apparently the human body has been made aware of a new plan I wasn’t told about?

So please, I am very interested in your class!

My doctor says I have an enlarged prostrate.

Phil Neichoy

I am interested in your study. I am 59 and have no prostate issues that I or my doc are aware of. I suffer from low T and all they will tell me is your aging.
I take 1 mg of T a week and see no signs of feeling better and my free T is not going up….What can I do to help this matter.I do suffer from back issues,,in fact having repeat surgery tomorrow as I have Lumbar spinal stenosis severely due to a injury from a fall due to a prescribed med by a neurologist that rindered me lifeless….so please leave the big money making pharmacuticals out of this,,they send poison throughout your body with every pill you take…
Under tons of stress..of every kind.

Fr John S. Toon

Age 83. Diagnozed BPH 20 yrs ago than suffering lower back pain & slowness peeing/ Prascar prescribed. Suffered injury to back in Roal Navy 1946 so have difficulty knowing if pain originates from injury or BPH. Have recently decided it is from injury. Am now on Hytrin. Only up one per night but often during the day have to rush to toilet otherwise leakage occurs. Am still sexually active though the morning ‘wood’ is missing. Have PSA every 3 mths-urologist hinting he would like to perform a biopsy.I am reluctant to go thru further ‘invasion’. From liyerature I have read this leakage could merely be old age. Also undergoing tremendous amount of stress (financial) I do voluntary work for military organizarions. Comments would be appreciated.

Certainly as we age, all men have to try to understand the changes in our body that are a result of growing older when some of our life history of living a certain way such as drinking or smoking will affect our system so it is terrific to be able to learn more. Thanks

Hi Matt. I’m 66. I began having to get up and pee 2-3 times at night about age 54. I began using several brands of saw palmetto-based herbal complexes and the nighttime urination problems went away completely. After a divorce and years-long period of sexual inactivity, around age 62 I began to date and desire sex again. I was now taking blood pressure and cholesterol medicine and experienced my first erectile problems. My MD, a regular guy, told me testosterone supplements were now available and work great. He prescribed the gel and it did work marvelously. I quit using because I couldn’t afford the monthly expense. I began various herbals said to increase libido plus help increase T, and these were effective for me. Age 65 another doctor explained self-administered T injections were available at a fraction of the price of the gel, so I inject 0.5 ml weekly. I felt a lot better at 1.0 ml per week but they cut my dosage in half. Now at age 66 my prostate seems to react badly to the herbal mixtures, and the having to urinate sensations came back, night and day. I stopped the libido herbs and the prostate/pee problems have almost receded.

I still have a lot of youthful potential in my body and mind. At the lower T dose I’m allowed now, I just feel less inspiration for going to the gym or otherwise exercising, which is a bit of a vicious circle, because exercise increases T. There is a life I want to have, and Inside I believe I’m not too old physically to have it.

Matt, I am learning and digesting your other programs, more slowly than fast, and it looks like you are trustworthy in both intentions and results. Let me know if I can help you with this project.

Bob

Am interested in your info. I have difficulty urinating, up about 3 times per night and have ED. Just found out I’m real low on Testosterone and am now using 10% cream and just started Prost-P10X for prostrate help. No help with ED yet and urination, but maybe too soon to expect results?

Hi Matt. My doc has never suggested i have any prostate problem but a friend of mine died earlier this month from prostate cancer and that wasn’t nice. What kind of symptoms would indicate that you have potentially got a problem and what preventative steps could be taken? Prevention being better than cure. I’ve just turned 72.

About 5 years ago a ” doctor” jamed a scope up my penis and into my blatter. I now have to get up to pee about 4 to 7 times a night Did he permanently hurt me by destroying tissue? he was a foreign doctor and his attitude was indifferent and he didn’t give a damm because he wasn’t making enough money.by the way –I am 85 years old.

Are testosterone creams harmful when used daily? How does one stop or reverse the conversion of testosterone into DHT? How does one counter the effect of the enzyme aromatase? How does one retard the production of 5 alpha reductase? Is the prescription medication Tamsulosin detrimental? What is the optimum ratio of free testosterone to estrogen? What preventative measures have an overall balancing effect on andropause?

I have had prostate problems for years. The doctor put me on avodart which the side effects are worse than the problem.I was put on flomax which lowered my blood pressure. I have tried herbs nothing seems to help. If you have a solution I am listening.

Hello Matt –
I am 80 yrs. old and I have MY urologist, who is pretty good with the pills.
At my age, I expect prostate problems. My doc gives me antibiotics what work for a while, if they don’t I have a stronger pill from previous urologist.
I don’t have a great love for “big Pharma”, and I really like these ‘alternative docs.
About 3 years ago, my very first uro. at my last visit told me – after I asked “Should I kinda change my diet?” His answer was ” You’re an old man.
Thje best thing you could do, is go home and die early”. (That
s why it was my Last” visit to him.
I told his nurse later about this and she said “He was just kidding”
What do you have? I’d be glad to try it.
About your other emails and “extreme erections”, or “last 1/2 hour”, and getting plenty of “B.J.’s” just can’t help me. I am a diabetic. I’m married 55 years. Sex has been OUT for about 15 yrs. I still have ‘semi’s’. It’ like I have a pen, but have no ink, and nobody to write to. (That is why I do not order anything from you.) Sorry this got so long but I just kept writing. Respects,
Jerry

Smart project. Wish you the best with it.

Permanent fixes are better then on-going addresses to any problem. So, while supplements are generally safer then surgery and/or drugs, they are often nearly as expensive to acquire and equally annoying to administer–especially if they must be taken for life. Here’s hoping that your proposal creates a fix, and allows a man to move on.

Rusty

Matt, I am 68 years old, and have been taking Finasteride 5mg daily (Proscar) for 5 years. It has certainly reduced the size of my prostate, and my PSA test resukts are very good.

I never need to get up to pee at night. Duirnt the day, even after taking coffee or alcohol, i can last 3 hours or more without needing to pee. If I avoid too much coffee or alcohol, I could go upto 5 hours without peeing.
Given my age, I still have a healthy libido (much higher than that of my partner, who is 13 years younger thann me (54 yrs old).
Pls tell me what is the harm in my continuing to take Finasteride. My urologist told me that Proscar reduces the libido of some men slightly, but I doubt that is a major factor for me. BTW I also noticed that since taking Proscar, less hair is falling from my head when I have a shower, and some new hair has grown on the crown of my head.
Am I just a lucky guy?
Stan

    Matt Cook

Stan, you sound like a lucky man indeed! And that’s nothing to sneeze at.

Finasteride inhibits one of the enzymes that creates DHT. DHT is a testosterone hormone naturally occurring in all the body parts. In the scalp, it is thought to produce male pattern baldness to some extent, so inhibiting DHT can help grow hair up there. Not a bad thing!

My view is the body is an experiment. We are our own subjects of our own experiments. What works for you, and it sounds like it’s working, may work for other guys too. Anything that works and doesn’t cause harm — we should be grateful.

And your partner is probably grateful too. Congratulations!

WILL YOUR SOLUTION HELP IN ANY WAY OF HAVING THE FEELING THAT YOUR BLADDER ISN’T EMPTY EVEN AFTER ONE HAS URINATED MATT?

    Matt Cook

This is SO common. It is really part of the big problem that causes discomfort — and you know what? Maybe your bladder isn’t empty! Sometimes these prostate issues keep us from emptying our bladder entirely…then we have to go again. It’s part of the problem for a lot of guys.

I think this option I’ll be discussing will help a great deal. It may very well be worth trying. One thing I’ve found is that this issue “seems” to be prostate related but more than that, it’s really related to the whole apparatus down there specifically including the bladder.

I would be very interested in this information. My issues are minor at this point, but I would much rather work to eliminate them now, as opposed to waiting until they are much more severe.

I get up 2-5 times each night unless I eat a lot of salt at my evening meal but then have to pee frequently the next day. I do not drink as much water as I should. I only pee a small amount each time maybe a couple of table spoons each time.
